Do Not Let Me Go, please.

Posted in Note to Self by Myself

Memories are delicate; they can break easily, or they can destroy you. Sometimes memories are like shadows, they hide behind you, they play hide-and-seek with you, they drive you crazy. But memories always unveil themselves in the places where at first occurred. When you desperately need to remember, there’s only one thing you can do: going there… to come back.
So, I went to Manchester, UK, and I loved it; then I hated it.
I’m alright, but I still don’t know what happened next.

You were sweet enough to sing
Oblivious to melody
Red suitcase full of clothes
Washed up on a shore of memories
I’m all alone now; and I feel just fine
I don’t feel like doing much of anything
True love ain’t that hard to find
Not that either one of us will ever now
Would you lay here for awhile?
Please do not let me go
Please do not let me go
